New to us in 2008, Scott and Scott  now harvest our cereal crops with two of the latest CLAAS LEXION 600 combines.

We have available for the grain harvest:

The LEXION Combines are fitted with the latest in harvesting technology including 10.5m (35ft) Vario cutterbars, Laser Pilot auto-steering, 586hp Mercedes engines and Cruise Pilot control systems. A top class grain sample is assured by their high capacity Jet Stream Cleaning and 3D Sieve Systems. The grain is stored on-board in 12,000 litre grain tanks.

The Combines are fitted with GPS grain yield monitors. This enables us to undertake a detailed crop analysis on each individual field. A land map is produced which is used to identify the strengths and weaknesses in the yield harvested that year.

They are fitted with the new CLAAS Telematics Management System which will enable us to achieve ever higher standards of harvesting management.

Combining is supported by a large back up team which includes full mechanical support to ensure a highly productive and efficient harvest.

We use JCB Fastrac’s equipped with Tri-axle Hook-Lift Trailers to allow speedy and efficient grain carting away from the Combines. Extra hook lift bins can be left in the field so if any problems should arise, the Combines can empty into these bins to ensure an un-interrupted harvesting process.

Our operators are well trained and highly experienced in the latest combining techniques. This enables us to efficiently harvest the crop and clear the ground promptly to allow the next season’s cultivations to begin on time.
