Cultivations

We offer a full and flexible range of cultivation techniques to suit all requirements and land types, using the latest farming technology including track-laying tractors to reduce land compaction.

Our aim with any cultivation system is to establish crops effectively without compromising long-term soil management considerations.

We run three Case STX 500 Quadtrac's and a CAT Challenger. These perform most cultivation and drilling operations and enable us to cover land effectively. In support we also have a fleet of JCB Fastracs ranging in power up to 250hp. This gives our clients the flexibility to choose the right machine for any given soil type or weather condition and allows minimal cultivation passes whilst still achieving correct seed beds at efficient costs.

Scott and Scott are in a position to offer three types of seed drilling which again gives us the opportunity to offer our clients a wide and flexible range of drilling possibilities.

12m Horsh Drill
The Horsh is an extremely universal and flexible piece of drilling equipment. It's ability to drill accurately in all conditions makes it a much sought after tool. Also with the culti-drill system it offers reduced cultivation and input costs.

The Vaderstad Rapid offers a high standard in precision drilling. This is due to a unique depth control system which allows precise seed placement and reduced cultivation. Coupled with skilled operating and management it produces a significant saving on input costs.
